During the Event Creation process, you will designate whether your event is a single day event or a multiple day event. There are 3 possibilities. A single day event, a multiple day event, or an identical event across multiple days.
For your Weekend Festival, if there are a unique tickets for each you could consider making it separate events for each day, but we would recommend making it a multiple day event and designating the days by ticket.
Here is a more specific breakdown:
You can choose between 3 different Event Types
- Single Day Event
Whether it is your Member Reception of the Annual Chocolate Dinner, it is easy to create a Single Day Event.
- Multiple Day Event with a Single Ticket
Want your customers to buy a wristband for your Friday-Sunday Music Festival? Simple! When making a New Event choose Multiple Day Event and choose your dates!
- Identical Event on Multiple Days
Does your 15 performances of Shrek need to have individual tickets? No problem! Create a Single Day Event for you opening night and then after selecting New Event to create the next performance choose Copy Another Event.
Tip: Make sure you remember to change the Event Dates and Ticket Sale Dates to reflect that show! Your Seating Chart and Ticket Types will copy with the event.
Tip: You have the option to change the Event Name, if you’d like, to call out details like matinees, special promotions like “free pennant day” or other opportunities.
