There are two options when it comes to payouts:
2) Post Event
Each has it's own unique benefits.
The default payout option will always be immediate. Immediate means that the transaction will be paid out the day that it happens and then subsequently arrive to the organization after a 2 day delay. If a credit card transaction happens on Monday, it will arrive Thursday morning.
Immediate payouts are a great selling point of the system. The majority national ticketing providers don't offer immediate payouts and instead hold money until after the events. Immediate payouts allow your organizations to cover upfront costs and have more flexibility with their resource management.
The second option is a post event payout. This means that your organization will receive a single payout after each event. The payout will only be for that event. It is worth noting though, that donations/memberships/gift cards will still be paid out immediately.
Why should you consider a post event payout? For some organizations it is a benefit because they only have to account for a single deposit. For you as a portal, it allows you the flexibility of working with an organization you don't previously have a relationship with. You can feel comfortable that they will put on their event and then subsequently you release the money. This way, you are never at risk.
