Packages can be used to offer a set number of tickets to Events or Ticket Groups.
There are 3 different types of Packages:
- Select All: the customer will choose tickets to all events (groups) available in the package
- Select Partial: the customer will choose tickets for X # of events out of the total list of events within the package
- Flex: the customer will receive a voucher for X # of tickets that can be used anytime to redeem tickets to events included in the package
First, fill out the Name, Description, Dates for Sale, and Total Price of your Package.
The next step is to set your Ticket Quantity. This is the total number of tickets the customer will get to the Events.
Then designate which Ticket Groups are available.
Ex: You are offering a "Choose 5 out of 7" Package. When the customer purchases this Package they will get to pick any 5 Events or Ticket Groups out of the 7 offered. Events Available would be 5.
Next, you will need to add the Ticket Groups makes make up the Package by clicking Add another event.
When you are adding Events, you can designate the Ticket Type and Price Level associated with that Package.
Tip: If you want the customer to only get to choose 1 of your 15 Shrek performances as 1 choice in your Package, make sure you add all the performances of Shrek to the same Ticket Group in their Event Settings.
Lastly, For Select All packages you can allocate how much money each event is worth out of the total price.
The total price of the allocated events has to add up to the total price of the package.
Remember, the Flex package gives a customer a voucher that allows them to choose any number of tickets in any of the ticket groups up to the Ticket Quantity listed at any time. They could buy 8 tickets to Shrek, instead of seeing Shrek, and three other shows.
