The sort on both your homepage and the Event List Widget look for 2 things in the following order:
- Sort #
Using the Sort #, you can prioritize certain events to appear to your ticket buyers at the top of of your lists.
By default, One-Time events are given a Sort # of 11 and Ongoing events are given a Sort # of 10. So if you don't ever edit the Sort # for an event, your list will always appear chronologically with Ongoing events being listed first.
Here's how you edit the Sort # for an event.
- As a Portal Level User, find the event you want to sort
- Once you're in the event, click on Event Setting
3. Simply, change the Sort Order and click Save!
