Complimentary tickets (Comps) can only be created in the web app. A comp ticket behaves just like any other ticket in our system as it can be emailed, exchanged, and released if needed. The customer's name and email must be added when comping an order to ensure the ticket is delivered and used properly.
- Click add order
- Choose event > choose the specific event
- Choose the ticket and number of tickets and click Add
- Scroll down to choose the delivery method
- Click the checkbox for "Comp Tickets?" and then "save order"
- Click checkout now
- Add customer information or choose existing customer
- Click "Complete order"
This will create the order for the selected customer and immediately send an order confirmation for the free tickets.
Navigate to the Add Order tab in the main navigation and click the Add Order button. In the window that appears click event and then select the event that your customer would like to comp tickets for.
Select the ticket type and quantity for any tickets you'd like to comp for one order. Then click "Add".
After selecting the ticket(s) scroll down to reveal the delivery method and other options for the tickets. Choose a delivery method then click the checkbox next to "Comp Tickets?". Lastly, click "Save Order".
You will now need to assign the tickets to a customer. To do this, click "checkout now".
Choose New Customer or Existing Customer. To create a new customer, be sure to enter (1) first name, (2) last name, and (3) email. Then click complete order. If you choose Existing Customer, enter part or all of their name or email to find the existing customer. Then select (4) complete order. This will create an order for the customer you designated and automatically send an email to confirm the order to the email entered for the customer.
